How rankings work

Everyone starts at a ฿ 30M bounty (Wanted Pirate). Every match you play raises or lowers it: the winner takes from the loser, and beating someone with a bigger bounty is worth more.

Behind the bounty is an Elo rating (start 1000). Your bounty doubles for every 60 rating points: 1000 = ฿ 30M, 1060 = ฿ 60M, 1120 = ฿ 120M.

Before each match your expected score is worked out from the gap between the two ratings. After it your rating moves by K × (result − expected), where a win counts as 1, a draw as ½ and a loss as 0.

Bounty after the match, for players past placement (K = 24).

Round results are read from the GGs organizer account on Bandai TCG+. If they can't be read for an event, its final standings are used instead: the event counts as if you played everyone in it, so finishing above a player is a win against them, below them a loss, and the same place a draw.

A bigger event counts for more, about as much as playing its Swiss rounds (3 for 8 players, 4 for 16, 5 for 32).

Example from final standings, for players past placement (from an equal start).

Your first 3 matches of a season are placement: your bounty moves faster (K = 64 instead of 24) so it reaches your level quickly. For example, winning your first match against an equal opponent takes you to ฿ 43.4M.

You're on the leaderboard with a tier from your first event.

• Every One Piece Card Game event at GGs on Bandai TCG+, including meet-ups. Seasons follow set releases: an event counts in the season that had started by its date.
• Every round counts. Byes don't, and a double loss counts as a draw.

Results come from each event on Bandai TCG+ and are added every night at 11 PM, so the leaderboard updates the night after an event.

Your tier comes from your bounty. The season's #1 is the Pirate King.

• Tier 1Pirate King#1 of the season
• Tier 2Emperor of the Sea฿ 350M+
• Tier 3Yonko Commander฿ 250M – ฿ 350M
• Tier 4Worst Generation฿ 180M – ฿ 250M
• Tier 5Supernova฿ 120M – ฿ 180M
• Tier 6New World Pirate฿ 80M – ฿ 120M
• Tier 7Grand Line Pirate฿ 50M – ฿ 79.9M
• Tier 8Wanted Pirate฿ 25M – ฿ 49.9M
• Tier 9Rookie Pirate฿ 10M – ฿ 24.9M
• Tier 10Cabin Boy฿ 0M – ฿ 9.9M

Won the last event? You're Wanted (🎯 on the leaderboard). Anyone who beats you in the next rated event gets a bonus on top of the normal result (+5 Elo, about +6% bounty).

Winning an event also earns a champion bonus (+5 Elo, about +6% bounty). The champion doesn't lose anything extra, so winning is never punished.

Badges you earn from your results, across every season. Each shows how many players have it, so you can see how rare it is. Find them on your player page.

When a new season starts, every rating moves halfway back toward the start (bounties shrink toward ฿ 30M) and everyone plays placement again, so returning players keep part of their standing without locking newcomers out.

Earlier seasons stay viewable from the season picker, including the seasons of the previous points ranking.
